AVAILABLE IN FALL ONLY. A real fall treat! American Persimmon trees produce candy-sweet fruit that are about the size and color of an apricot. American Persimmons native northern range is southern Ohio/Indiana/Illinois but they will grow all the way north into Zone 4. Persimmons are sublime and ripe to eat when they are very soft and gooey but don't eat them when they are hard or they will leave your mouth feeling dried out and puckering!
These seeds are from our friend Marc Boone who has been growing persimmons for many years.
