80 days. Easy to grow, showy annual flower with a long history of cultivation in the U.S. and across the globe. This tall, bi-color variety can be traced back to the gardens of Monticello. Flowers are vibrant scarlet red, with an indigo pattern near the center. Poppy seeds are commonly used in baking.  Plants will re-seed themselves in the garden and grow to about 3-4’ tall when given adequate space, water, and nutrients. Distinctive, ruffled blue-green foliage and crown-like dried seed pods add visual interest to the garden or bouquets. CC
