Veggies for Shade
Most vegetables need at least 8 hours of direct sun per day. If shade is a problem in your garden, give these vegetables a whirl! Bronze Fennel, Garlic Chives, Good King Henry, and Vit Mache will grow with less than 4 hours of direct sun. Most of these vegetables (Tomatoes, Spinach, Arugula, Kale, Collards, Chives, Beans, Chard & Mustard Greens) need at least 4 hours of direct sunlight in order to produce some food - but they will grow better and yield more with even more light.
