This is Grand Rapids lettuce in our hoophouse. It looks great after the extended cold snap (low of 4 degrees) last week!
More info: We grow it uncovered in our unheated hoophouse where cold and downy mildew wipe out the weakest plants. We save seed only from the strongest survivors. This means we are selecting Grand Rapids to be ideally suited for hoophouse growing conditions.
